We believe Cromaine Library should remain a welcoming, trusted center of learning, culture, and community for everyone, across all generations. Our goal is to protect the library’s strong connection to Hartland while ensuring that its programs, collections, technology, and services continue to meet the changing needs of all local families.
Cromaine Family Advocates will continue to build on the spirit of the Hartland Area Project founded by Mr. J Robert Crouse — bringing people together through education, history, the arts, and community service. As trustees, we support responsible financial stewardship, thoughtful long-term planning, open communication, and programs that serve children, families, seniors, and lifelong learners.
Cromaine’s future should honor its history while remaining accessible, innovative, financially sound, and prepared to serve Hartland for generations to come.
